I'm having trouble encoding several films into an MPEG2 (.m2v) stream. I've tried bbmpeg, tmpgenc and now trying to use CCE.
I normally use bbmpeg and all is fine, however Sleepy Hollow and all the four Alien films, come out all blocky if unselect 'reconstruct progressive' or if leave selected the film starts in sync then slowly works its way out of sync. One strange thing - I notice that the output m2v in hh.mm.ss.ff is smaller than the audio ?? All these films are NTSC film (23.976).
I am using CCE SP 2.64.01.10 with FlasKMPEG 0.7.8.39 to read the IFO. I can run 1 pass CBR and it creates a vaf and 4gig mpg file. If I run a 1 pass VBR is creates a vaf and a 4gig mpg, however on playing the mpg it contains two copies of the film (back to back) strange ?? So I assume my vaf contains two copies of the film. Therefore have used the CBR vaf and tried to run a 2 pass VBR, after several minutes it creates an error and aborts with the picture in the attached document. (It may need to be seen by a moderator before it will be shown).
Help. !!.!
