Ok then, try the search button on the top of the page.
(forum rule 1 - read and get used to the rules. And welcome aboard. And: happy fresh installing your system!).

search for "nimo codec pack" and you'll see what happens to people who install it ;)
(i.e.: messed up playback,... up to messed up systems.)
Unfortunately, in most cases uninstalling the codec pack doesn't help. Therefore-> fresh clean install of your windows.

I still don't understand why installing codec packs at all
I don't use Windows anymore, but I always had just the essential codecs (for encoding) plus ffdshow (for decoding) and I was always fine. No need for 7 MB codec-pack-crap !
Just my opinion....

if you know what codecs you need from the nimo pack you can install them without much of a problem, though sometimes it does hose your system installing and uninstalling it. why use a codec pack? cause its easy and a lazy way of installing many codecs after a clean install of your operating system.
