Minor bug? Subs not ripped using "frame selection" option WITH rip only/batch projects
Also,"edit the avisynth file after DVD2AVI" action never occurs.
In advance, I am sorry I have not posted the dvd2svcd.ini, subtitle.ini and project file.d2s files. If need be, I can run the program on a short chapter and post them.
Sequence of events needed to reproduce the problem
1. Set DVD2SVCD for "Frame Selection", "Edit AVISynth File after DVD2AVI", "CVD Subtitles" and select "Rip Only".
2. DVD2SVCD first starts to rips and gives the standard subtitle preview pane. I hit OK and the disc proceeds to rip, DVD2AVI runs and the Frame Selection pane alows me to frame select. Message appears "ripping complete". I close the program.
3. Later DVD2SVCD is run by the batch file method. In the morning, the Subs folder is empty and obviously no subs are muxed into the final image files.
Examining the DVD2SVCD.ini file, it shows that the subs should be ripped. There is a subtitle.ini file which only has the initial info and not the time points. The project file towards the end has the 5 or so subtitle lines with emptiness (no values) after the "=".
In order to correct the problem, I have to hit recover (from the start) go to the conversion tab and select the previously ripped IFO file which has no been ripped to my hard drive, uncheck "Activate DVD ripping", change the output folder to a different folder and hit "GO". I then copy the subs folder, the subtitle.ini file to their respective locations in the original output folder. I then "paste" the lines from the the new d2s project file regarding the subs (at the end) into the original d2s file. I hit recover again using the original d2s file and starting and the "Muxing and Cutting stage, not the "SVCD authoring" stage and I end up with the correct CVD subtitled bin/cue files.
This is entirely reproducible and has occurred with multiple back-ups.
Thanks in advance for your help.:)
