I have taken my Region 1 copy of Serpico and extracted all the files from the disc using DVD Decypter.
The dvd contains 6 VTS's.
The main movie is VTS4 so I used DVD2AVI and then VFAPIConv to set up the avi file ready to be recompressed using CCE.
Did everything I had to do with CCE and then used DVD Maestro to merge all the audio from the original VOB's (2 English and 1 French track) and the newly encoded m2v file from CCE.
I then used IFOUpdate to make the changes to the original IFO4 file from the newly authored IFO from DVD Maestro.
Checked all the IFO's via IFOEdit (Get VTS sectors) and everything was okay. I then ran the DVD from the hard drive using PowerDVD and all the links etc.. work correctly.
Problem I'm getting is when it comes time to burn it to a DVDR.
PrimoDVD and RecordNow both issue program errors after burning around 15MB of data. Nero (version 5.5.9.0) won't allow me to burn it as a DVD video project. It complains about the file sizes being different between the BUP's and the IFO's on VTS1/3/5/6 and when I burn it just as a data DVD it plays okay on my PC, but not on my stand alone player.
Anyone got any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
I can make great copies of my DVD's if I just want the movie, but I've not been able to create a 100% copy of a DVD yet.
