AC3 sound in SVCD?

Is it possible to encode SVCD with AC3 sound? What does SVCD support with regard to surround soundtracks?

No, the standard only supports MPEG2 multichannel. Dvd2svcd also supports it. You can find information in

Ac3 sound is part of DVD standard, you must use DVD authoring for this. You could try (if you want to practice):
