Anyone have any idea why ReMPEG should stop at 99% ? When i just end the application, sometimes the m2v file does work.

Can anyone suggest another program that doesn't take quite as long ?

Thanks

Hi,
try to use CCE.

Thanks for the reply. I have just tried CCE and i seem to be having a problem with DVD2AVI. I have my M2V file that was created using DVD Decrypter, when i load it into DVD2AVI it has a framrate of 20 fps for PAL ? This isn't what it should be and if i continue, when i get to CCE, it says that its an invalid framrate.

I have also tried this directly from the VOB's nad it still reads 20 fps.

I am fairly new to this so i hope its not just something i am missing out ?

Kind Regards

Hi,
try like this: Rip the dvd in file mode. Open Dvd2avi and extract the AC3 and a.d2v file. Convert it to .avi with Vfapi. Then import it to CCE. You can follow the guide http://www.doom9.org/mpg/maestro2.htm

Hi Artur,

I'm sorry to keep pestering but when i load up the vobs in dvd2avi, i get a framerate of 20fps. Anyway of changing this because when i come to loading it up in CCE later on, it doesn't like it.

Hi,

Found out what i was doing wrong. Basically, 'Frame Rate = 20.000 fps: your source is PAL and you have Forced Film activated. Set Field Operations to None to get the correct framerate.', found it in the following guide http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvd2avi.htm.

Thanks for your time.

Kind Regards

Hi,
by the way, if you want DVD2AVI to handle DTS use the version 1.7.7.3
All the best!

I've had the exact same issue when trying to rip starwars attack of the clones... First TMPG would not take the dvd2avi video file.... then I tried to rip the .vob driectly using rempeg and the file process was fine until the 99% point where it just stopped on me... just like you described... Not sure why...
