Hi Guys
By the sounds of things some of you are more keyed up on this business than I am so I thought you may be able to help with a little problem I am having.
The end result I am trying to acheive is to make a DVD from a miniDV tape. The camcorder is a Panasonic NDV29B, which is PAL, Progressive, mini-DV format.
I use Windows movie maker to capture the raw AVI to the disk and then I am trying to use TMPEnc PLus 2.58 to make a MPEG-2 file from this.
I am familiar with TMPEnc for rempegging commercially produced DVDs, but my AVI gives me problems.
I am encoding VBR at 8000kb/s, non-interlaced source and destination, GOP structure IBBPBBPBBPBBP, Quantize matrix default with Output YUV data as basic YBrCr not CCIR601 checked.
Where motion occurrs or light changes I get horizontal lines appearing as if the encoding is not working very well.
Any ideas?
