hi to all and a happy new year

i'm trying to make an acceptable VCD from a DVD, ok i know about poor quality of VCD's but my standalone DVD player doesn't support SVCD's, but in scenes where there is fast movement of any object you can see tense pixelazation, i think it's called 'noise', around it

is there any setting or a combination of settings to get rid off this problem or i have to live with it

its best to use tmpgenc to encode mpeg-1 rather than cce.

I don't know much about it, but I believe you can trick your standalone player into playing svcd's. You need to adjust the header in TMPGEnc. I'm sorry that I don't have much info on it, but I did see it.
