help can't use tmpeg by itself after installing dvd2svcd

After I install dvd2svcd and use it with tmpeg to make svcd I can no longer use tmpeg by itself to fix a file. Whenever I load in the source into tmpeg it alway seem to stay connected to dvd2svcd output source no matter waht. I can no longer use the mpeg tool as well. Is there a way to unbind dvd2svcd from tmpeg. For example I wanted to rencode an mpeg that I had to make it vcd compliant but when I load it up in tmpeg it does get recognize. But when I press encode tmpeg will reference the dvd2svcd output file instead. Please help

This may be overly simplistic, but TMPGEnc seems to 'remember' it's last configuration. Have you tried File/New Project? If it asks you to save current, then you know it's already 'got' a project, which is the problem. I find I get into TMPGEnc and many options are grayed out; doing the above fixes this for me.
