AC3 to AAC

I'm following Doom9's guide to encoding an AC3 file into an AAC using AACMachine however the .aac file created has a size of 0. and refuses to open in the mp4player.

You must install azid.dll for make the ac3 decoding possible

I downloaded the latest version of azid.dll and put it into my aacmachine directory but i'm still getting the same error, what files do other ppl have in their aacmachine directories?

I think that azid needs to be in the same directory as Besweet, so if Besweet isn't in your aacmachine directory it isn't going to work. What I have done is when I installed GordianKnot it installed besweet and azid as well. For the location of besweet at the top I put in the location of besweet that is in the GordianKnot directory and it works fine.

thanx, i'll try that. At the moment i've just unzipped besweet and the rest into my aacmachine dir i hadn't thought of linking it to my GKnot dir

It still gives me a 0KB .aac file, here's my aacmachine directory

My GKnot directory is just a normal installation. There isn't anything i have to do after i've encoded the aac is there.

Have you install all the besweet *.dll because i have much more like vstrip.dll,borlndmm.dll and all others concerning mp3,ac3,vorbis.

i extracted everything in BeSweetv1.4.zip which i got from this site into the directory and i've used Besweet many times before without problems.

Ok i deleted aacmachine and re-installed it and it seems to work now, not sure what i did wrong but thanx for everones help.
