Has anybody tried this version of Tmpgenc which accept in input Avi files without YUV->RGB conversion ?

"the application can encoder without YUV-RGB conversion when loading DV/MPEG-2 video, as a result, there are no quality loss or tolerance even after encoding."

Only on Sony Vaio : RZ PCV-RZ70P, PCV-RZ60, PCV-RZ50

This sounds rather interesting. I just read the same thing at the pegasys-inc. homepage. Acually, it should be faster then, because the YUV-RGB Format Konversion ist obsolete... In addition, this version seemes to be able to output ac3.
Anyone got a hand on this one?
