Hi all,

just wondering if it's possible to demultiplex an MPEG2 SVCD file if there are 2 language streams in the file.

Any help apreciated

Sure... the easiest way would be using MPEG Tools in TMPG Encoder

Just open the mpeg in the demuxer and see the streams available... it'll give you the list of all the streams in the mpeg (svcd)... you just need to choose what to demux. :)

Hope this helps.

yeah, that's what I already tried but thx anyway. the problem is TMPEG always gives me "Illegal MPEG System stream". The SVCD was created using DVD2SVCD, CCE 2.5, variable bitrate in 3 passes. Anything wrong? Any other hints very welcome....

With a SVCD mpg file, where TMPGenc and another tools failed. DVD2AVI has demuxed the stream (only one audio stream, but maybe you can try, because DVD2AVI can select the track to demux).
