how to get rid of one or several PGCs in an IFO file ?

Hi,

I have an IFO file which has 3 PGC only the movie is in PGC 1
How can I get rid of the PGc 2 and 3 in the IFO file and keep only PGC 1 ?
I don't want to create new IFO and VIDEO_TS files using the ifoedit option because I need to keep the menu table information in the original files in order to use the _0.VOB file since I am keeping the whole DVD (extras and movie)
I am desesperate since I don't know what to do
I hope an expert will be able to tell me the solution

Assuming you know what you are doing if there were only 1 PGC, just go ahead as usual (using Trilight's DVD-9 to DVD-5 "full copy" instructions). The only difference is you need to re-rip the vob set with multiple PGCs, selecting only the PGC you desire in IFO mode of DVD Decrypter. Other than that it is business as usual. It becomes more difficult if you want to actually re-create the multiple PGCs.

This worked for me on 2 separate titles. Someone please correct me if I incorrectly stated anything. I, myself, am new to this.

This is what I did.
I ripped only the PGC I wanted in the vob containing the movie.
The problem is that I have almost 40 vobs in this dvd (Xmen) and I want to keep all the extras (the extras have been already reencoded using rempeg since I am not too fussy about the quality for the extra)
The movie was reencoded with CCE and reauthored with Ifoedit
So I have either the original IFO file which contains all the PGC (3) but also the menu tables.
On the other hand I have the ifo file generated by ifoedit when authoring which contains only 1 PGC description but unfortunately no menu tables, etc...
So if I use this file and do a get VTS sectors with Ifoedit, I have a warning to let me know that the _0.VOB file which contains the menu naivigation is unused since there is no menu tables.

So what I 'd like to do and know how to do it is either transfer the menu tables from the original IFO file in the ifo generated file or get rid of the PGC 2 and 3 in the original IFO file.

so if there is anybody who could help me, I would appreciate.

IFOUpdate corrects problems like this. Read the bottom part of Trilight's guide.

IFOUpdate does not correct this problem
I mean I have only 1 PGC in the authored IFO file and 3 PGC in the original one
When I use IFOUpdate, according to my understanding, it will basically update the original IFO file with the content of the new authored IFO file in particular the chapter points but I don't think it will correct the PGC or removed them if there are to many
Therefore I end up with an updated IFO file which has still 3 PGC
The movie plays fine on a computer using power DVD
I have access to all the extras, the movie,etc...
But it does not play at all on my standalone player
And all the burnt dvd in that case are the one I reauthored with CCE/scenarist and they all had multiple PGCs in the movie title set

I read the guide but the guide does not explain for several PGCs.
I guess it is assuming the IFO file has only one PGC
