if I want to make a copy of a DVD that has been backed up ( decrypted, reencoded, etc...)do I have to rerun dvd decryptor to extract the files and them just burn them or can I just copy the files across on my hard disk and make a copy from there ?

Since the vob files on the dvd have been already decrypted, I would say I don't need to rerun dvd decryptor but I'd like your point of viez

Yes, you can copy them to your hard drive and burn them from there. Just make sure you re-create the VIDEO_TS folder too.

Or, try Nero's DVD copy function...

why dont you just do a straight copy from the disc you have just burned , the vobs are not encrypted so there is really no need to use dvd decrypter , its just like copying a cd:rolleyes:
use exact copy option in your burning software :p

That's what I wanted to hear :)
I was 99% sure that on a back up copy, the files were not encrypted and therefore could be burnt straight away on a blank DVD without the need of rerunning DVD decryptor

Thanks
