hi. someone told me that having the sound card and the graphics card using the same IRQ is not good. so i looked at my system and found half my hardware was on IRQ11. but i couldn't change it. even though about 8 devices were on the same IRQ>

so i forgot about it, and today when i looked at my setup, i found all the same devices on IRQ 3. and i am positive i didn't change it. how did it hapen?

its normal for an acpi pc that all pci/agp devices share the same irq, you cannot change that manually.
but normally the irq wont change without reason. maybe you switched a setting in windows or bios that forced the reorganisation.

the BIOS has a setting on most PCs labeled something like "Plug n Play OS" YES/NO. When set to YES the OS (Win XP, 2000, etc) can re-arrange the IRQ settings, which it is designed to do.

As long as everything works, not a problem.
