Ok I have had nothing but headaches with encoding and authoring, A string of mishaps and reading until my eyes felt like they eye’s going to bleed.
I realize it is fashionable to have subtitles and chapters but at this point I would settle for audio that was in sync and a DVD that I could play on my home unit.
(And yes... I have read my butt off, both tutorials and PDF manuals)
So I am wondering is it possible the use dvd2svcd set for advance to encode my vob’s with “conversion” Anamorhic (no borders, encode as 16:9) “Bitrate” CD size 3500
“Frameserver” Bilinear Resize … Resize to = DVD (720 x 480/576) “CD Image” Don’t make images. “Audio” Joint Stereo or Dual Channel… Audio Bitrate 320 or 384.

And just Import that into like Spruce up or Ulead Workshop?

Or Is there a program out there like Nandub for mpgs to merge my audio and video files

Hmmm, I cant answer the first question (use dvd2svcd set .. .. Audio Bitrate 320 or 384), I've never used those tools. There are other reliable methods that are simple to follow, the doom9 ReMPEG and IfoEdit guides, did you try these? easy to follow and nearly foolproof if you want to remove all but the audio and video.

To answer your second question, I use IfoEdit to remux or author my ac3 and m2v streams into a new vob set.
