View Full Version : Which player with subs and 2 audio tracks?

As a newbie, I successfully encoded my divx film using GordianKnot and Divx5, with 2 audio tracks.
I can play them successfully with Zoom Player, and I have problems (as well as other people...) with PowerDivX NextGen.

Now, I'd like to add non permanent subtitles, and I see that there is a guide for that, but before starting I would like to know which player I will use, since Zoom Player does not support subtitles, and PowerDivX NextGen has problems with multiple audio tracks...

Can anybody suggest me the correct player?

since Zoom Player does not support subtitles
this is new for me...never heard this before & I don't believe this!!!
Zoomplayer can handle subtitels very well with DirectVobSub.
Download the newest VobSub (http://vobsub.edensrising.com/vobsub.php?PHPSESSID=49487a607f558bcf017fbb1ff7d8e58d) , configure it, register it in Zoomplayer and you'll see it works! ;)

MPC and BSPlayer are also good players and can ,of course, handle with subtitels.

I have best results with BSPlayer for .srt subtitels in OGM but Zoomplayer is despite this fact my favourite one.

Great, mate!
You are right, with DirectVobSub and ZoomPlayer it's working perfectly. I managed to add subs in 2 languages, and I can switch between them by changing the options in the window that appears after clicking the green arrow in the right-down corner of the screen.

Strange, I didn't even need to configure the Player, it recognized automatically the sub file (which has the same name of the avi, as suggested somewhere in the Guides....)

Thanks a lot
