Hi, I am using Vdub And Divx 5.02 to encode dvs's and mpeg i get from nte. with dvd's no problem, but when encoding some mpegs, target file have very stron pure blue or pure red noise at the bottom of image(noise "is following a movement in clip and then disappeart, sometimes reach 1/3 of all image).
I Use 2 pass encoding, all divx setting are default, except bitrate
I don't change settings from 1st pass to 2nd pass.
I use no filters.
The source mpeg files plays normal.
No difference in which player i play the output - problem still appear
The problem is about with 10%,of files that i encede, not more.

I hope someone could know the solution, Thanks in advance for any replies.

I know you sometimes get purple streaks like those of blue and red you described. This problem is caused by not using a width and height multiplier of 16 for your output DivX. Despite DivX Networks claiming that you can use 4, I have gotten this on a multiplier of 8. Dunno if this causes what you say, but it sounds very similar.
