Hello,

I've created a big avi file with dvd2avi this night, and it created 2 avi file, one of 2Gb and another of 1.3Gb.
My problem is that I don't know how to get the whole file because, the second avi file seems not to have a header, so I can't read it with virtualdub...
Has someone an idea to let me able to read the whole avi file ? (I want to cut it in differents parts, so for the first one, its ok, but for the second, I don't know !!)
Cheers,

FaroK

If the first one really doesn't have a header and just needs to be appended...then you could try (at command prompt):
copy /b 1.avi + 2.avi full.avi
which will add the two AVIs together...But apart from that I wouldn't know...

thanks for your answer...
It seems that my computer stop itself before the end of encoding, so the second avi file is not finished.
Anyway, it bored me, so I started the encoding again :)

If someone has the same problem, you should use AviUtl, there is an option append.
