Flashing a DVR-104 with 105 firmware

Have any of you tried doing this? I'd rather not pay $250 just for the ability to overburn CDs and use RAW DAO, but I'm not going to intentionally flash it with the wrong firmware unless someone's done it successfully.

I'm sure the upgrade utility wouldn't even allow you to do this and for good reason. The a05/105 has a different microcontroller (that's why there's no RPC-1 firmware yet, there's not even a disassembly tool available yet) so if you managed to flash your drive wouldn't work anymore.

Ah, ok. I didn't know it used a different microcontroller. Too bad. :/
