I have a few Enterprise dvdr ready clips that are PAL interlaced/pregressive. I have looked very closely at these and I havent seen 1 shred of interlacing artifacts and the audio plays a little faster then it should so I assume it is just speed up progressive (even the cg scenes) split into 2 fields. So would the right way to bring this down to 23976 be to deinterlace-blend fields - using some avs deinterlacer i havent figured out which one yet, AssumeFPS(23.976,sync_audio=true), Simpleresize(704,480) and reencode with cce set to progressive frame 16:9 and do a pulldown after, reenc audio and thats it? I just wanted an expert opinion before i alter this beautiful looking clip. Thx for any help.
