Welcome to the forum!

I assume you want to extract the MPEG-2 video stream.

DVD2AVI projects are often used to extract the video stream, often in concert with AviSynth, in order to serve the video stream in AVI-compatible format for re-encoding. DVD2SVCD uses this method for Super VideoCDs, and Gordian Knot uses it for DivX video in .avi files.

To extract the MPEG-2 video stream and leave it untouched in an MPEG-2 elementary stream (.m2v), you can use bbMPEG. It's available in the VOB Tools section of Doom9's downloads. It is easy to use, but not intuitively obvious. Doom9 has a number of guides that include instructions on using it, I found instructions in the SVCD guide section somewhere.

U assume completely right...

I have problems with a movie that can be ripped in ifoedit, but the subtitles gets another color and is "blurry".

I will try bbMPEG.. Thank you.

Is there a guide somewhere?

I looked again in the SuperVideoCD guides, and, as I'd said, found a link to the bbMPEG guide there. Here's the link:

Grillen,

Give me a minute to dig it out. I have seen a thread somewhere as to why the subtitles turn green and fuzzy and how to fix them. Hold on for just a minute.

found it. Let me know if this works for you. And let me know if this is the right thread. Shoud be derrows. Question #5. You need the original ifo files though to get rid of the fuzzy greenies.
