When encoding with virtualdubmod, I occasionally get crashes (i think they are xvid related, though i'm not completely sure). I have Windows XP Pro with all the updates and so forth. When virtualdub crashes it gives me the option to send an error report which I do. But i'm not sure if this information ever gets back to the developers or if Microsoft throws it in some database somewhere. I was wondering if it would be helpful to post the error log (along with exact settings) when it crashes either here or somewhere more appropriate.
