Weird audio out of synch problem

Hi

I recently captured some video with my video card (Pinnacle PCTV), but when I played the avi file I discovered that the audio was out of synch, but only in the middle of the video. At the beginning and the end of the video the audio is is synch.

Any ideas on this?

sounds strange, do you have discovered any dropped frames ??
with wich software do you capture....? maybe you should try VirtualDub. there you have an good capture function and i never run into problems with that, iam using an Pinnacle Studio PCTVPro ;)

How do B-frames affect audio synch. Does the DivX 5.02 Directshow Filter compensate for the audio synch issues?

I use Pinnacle Studio Version7 to capture. I don't think there were any dropped frames. I captured the video in a fairly poor quality.
