I'm working with The Office DVD. It is a multiple episode DVD. What I decided to do was to chop the DVD in half and copy it onto 2 DVD-5s. So I created to folders, copied and ripped the entire DVD to both folders. I gave the film a quick play in IforEdit and noted down that Title Sets 1 and 8 were required. So for the 1st DVD I decided to keep episodes 1 - 3 (VTS 1 - 3) and I kept VTS 7& 8 as well. I deleted the other title sets as I didn't need them for this DVD. In the VIDEO_TS file I changed the VMG_PTT_SRPT section and amended the Title Set Number and Title Set Starting Sector for Titles 4, 5 and 6 so that they would point to the same as Title sets 1, 2 & 3 respectively. That way when you select Episode 4 from the main menu it would infact play Episode 1, selecting Episode 5 would play 2 and 6 would play 3. I did a Get VTS Sectors in IfoEdit. Made an image and then burned to disc. The problem is the film plays absolutley fine from my hard disc using IfoEdit. But the disc I burnt will not play using Power DVD or on my set top box. I even tried following the advice in another thread whereby I kept the original VIDEO_TS and replaced the VOB files in VTS 4, 5 & 6 with the smallest VOB set and renamed it 4, 5 & 6. So I copied VTS_07_x.VOB three times and renamed each copy 4, 5 and 6 respectively. But that still doesn't work. Any ideas please?
