divx 5.02 codec in easydivx 0.82

I have the DivX 5.02 Pro codec on my PC. The Windows XP Device Manager confirms that the codec is installed and functional.

However easydivx does not find the codec, although it is supposed to work with DivX 5.02.

Does anyone know how I can make easydivx find the DivX 5.02 codec?

does vdub able to see the divx 5.02 in video/compression windows?????... if not...
then run regedit, search "drivers32"... here u will see all the codecs
dlls... see for empty stuff like "divx5.02 " blanck dll...
delete all those black dlls... then u should see ur divx 5.02 in vdub... and in easydivx ...

becareful about the registry!!!!! @ ur own risk
