Sorry for the edit but...I have always relied on your site for THE BEST in advise and software for my encoding needs for about(not quite) 2yrs. Only tonight did I finally read the "ABOUT' portion on the opening page.(I have always gone to the forum and then downloads...in that order.)When I read about you wanting the original rips in English, It finally dawned on me(DUH!)..English may not be your 1st language(but it probably is). So humor me or Dismiss me...Where are you from?...Where are you NOW?...and are you still in love with ripping DVD's?

well.. I've always prefered to separate real life from my online idendity to the extent where only very few people know my real name and whereabouts. Then again it's not really a challenge finding out so if you really want to know I'm sure you'll come up with a method finding out ;)

As for ripping DVDs, I still like it but with a job and school at the same time there's hardly any time for it, plus while there's enough new tools there aren't too many really visionary ones. I love to sit down and tinker with something absolutely new (that's why my site has grown so big..) or help turn programs into something more useful. So my love for ripping DVDs varies with the opportunities I get to learn something new or help create something new.

IIRC your hostmask on IRC ended with .ch which means you're from Switzerland, but I'm not 100% sure. ;)

Shells/Bouncers are for people without any skills or a real life. ;) I don't believe that Doom9 is that type of guy. Maybe I should log on to IRC again and look at the complete hostmask. Usually you can see if it's an ISP, a bouncer or a shell by looking at the full hostmask. IIRC it Doom9's hostmask was that of an user of a Swiss ISP.

While not wishing to censor freedom of speech, it is my humble opinion that this thread is impolite in it's attempts to uneccessarily publicise details which the individual concerned would rather remain private. Since we all owe the very existence(!) of this forum to the individual concerned, I really think it is bad manners to use his own forum to flout his (very reasonable) wishes!
