I used DvdDecrypter, VobEdit and IFOEdit to create a DVD with no menus and just the 1st audio track. This has always worked perfectly before.
Decrypt, combine files with VobEdit as the are wrong name, create new IFOs with IfoEdit, get Vts Sectors, strip out the the video and the 1st audio track with VOB Extras, Get Vts Sectors, burn (with some program closings in between at each step, of course)
On Sixth Sense, on the opening credits, I see French Credits mixed with English - plays a little English, plays a little French.
After this, I can play the DVD ok, and skip backwards and forwards thru it, but the elapsed times are really messed up.
What exactly do I need to do, that one would not ordinarily do, when stripping Sixth Sense?

REECYCUP - I opened VTS_01.0.IFO and went into VOB Extras - the Remove Angles checkbox is not available.
In the VobExpert options, I have remove P-UOps, remove Mac, adj vob-unit, adjust audio checked.
I don't have the remove llvu/Angle or adjust llvu/angle checked.
1. How do I proceed to rip out those angles on my existing files?
2. When ripping from a DVD using DVD Decrypter or using the other tools (VobExtras, IfoEdit), should I do anything different?

Use Smartripper in movie mode-you should see 2 different angles.Rip angle 1 for english.

AlainDelon - right now, I only have the DVD decrypter VOBs.
Is there a way to strip the angles wiht IFOEdit?

yes i think so...
there is an option that says something like keep only angle:
it's the last one. i think it's bellow the split to 2 DVD's checkbox.
but if it doesn't allow you to change that is because there is only one angle.

REECYCUP - all I have is the IfoEdit generated IFOs. I always trash the ones that DvdDecrypter generates as I don't want the menus.
Are you saying that I need the original IFOs from Sixth Sense to be able to do the angle magic?

if u already ran them through ifoedit maybee thats why angle is grayed out i only tried with the original vts_05_
thier should have been an option the first time
i always check that first.after running into multi angles

REECYCUP - bummer. Glad I generally burn to +RW first while I'm learning the ropes. When hd costs go down a bit more, I'll probably never burn - just play them on MyHD HDTV card from hard drive.
BTW - what is your preferred technique to burn a DVD with no menus and only preferred audio? I always like to learn from someone who knows more than I do.

i'm just learning myself
first i load the movie vts.ifo in ifo (right from dvd, they are not decrypted)that way i know how to decrypt the dvd.
i use ifoedit to cut all but 6channel and video
if its small enough burn (after putting it in a VIDEO_TS folder and doing get vts sectors(its a bummer when u forget this and burn the dvd!
if its to big run it through cce tried everything else bad luck on myend
i find most of my help from reading others post thier problems
i only have issues with interlaced movies i dont understand them enough to get rid of the interlace probs
i will then be off to learn multi pgc movies
dont have senarist yet but soon will
hope i helped some!

REECYCUP - I've found that if it is too large to fit on 1 DVD, I'll just take out the extra VOBs that won't fit and use IFO Edit to create IFOs again, burn DVD1.
Then, I use VobEdit to join the remainders from perhaps 2 DVDs into 1. IfoEdit that to get IFOs (closing, and then GetVtsSectors of course) - and burn that. Easy to mark pos in ink on DVD where DVD #2 begins.
Don't think can mix 2nd DVDs if one is DTS and other is not, but I've had few problems so far. Multi-angle is something I'll check for from now on - to avoid interlacing problems like with Sixth Sense.
