All In Wonder 7500 card, No Sound When Capturing!!

I just installed a All In Wonder 7500 card, and when I capture into Virtual Dub or Ulead Video Studio I get no sound. I get no sound when I'm capturing and no sound when I play the AVI file back. My computer has sound and I know the hookup is right, I'm using the purple ATI input adapter and it's pretty straightfoward. I'm thinking its a driver problem or control panel setting or something like that. Please help!

hardware: Did you plug the small line-out from the back of the 7500 to the line-in of your sound card? Or connect the TAD instead?

control panel: I believe line-in comes muted and mic is selected by default in control panel. Try selecting line-in and unmuting it if muted.

drivers: Make sure the crossbar pin is set to Audio line-in.
