You really need to tell us the format of the movies you wish to convert. If you have DVD's, you can accomplish this using DVD2SVCD and handling the two movies as if they were separate program chains of the same movie. Go to the Basic Topics forum and run a search using "bonus" as a keyword. You'll find lots of help in there. Good luck.......

i wish to convert dvds.
i use dvd2svcd of course.

i "search" about bonus, read tons, and only get answers
send to other threads(only problems, not solutions).....
nothing clear and direct.
read (dvd2svcd) q&a too,
only encouter just how to "mix" more vobs in a movie.

the answer remains!

Click here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=39117). Moderator markrb gave us a blow by blow description of handling multiple program chains in this thread, and I followed these instructions to successfully complete my first rip of this nature. If you get stuck, come on back and get some help, I'm sure someone will lend you a hand.

Merry Christmas,

I neglected to give credit here to Labersack who contributed a neat graphical explanation of how to rename the .vob files.

The creator himself, DVD2SVCD, laid this out himself in the Basic Topics forum Q&A, Q.41. Thank him, Mark, Labersack, and gosh knows who all else! I just read it and finally, (after much head scratching, because I am dense) was able to do it too. Good luck!

of course, lots of thanks to all!!!!!:D

and to CM (in cdrsoft forum) that help me too with this:

"Okay so you have 6 10min films. If you encode each separately as a VCD you will end up with each about 100 meg long, they will all fit to one 80min CDR.

If you encode to SVCD at about 2000 bps data rate then they will end up at about 160meg each and all wont fit, so need to use 2 CDR's. If you want SVCD AND want then to 1 CD, then in D2S. set the in Bitrate the top line 0 to 50min, change the 740 or 800 to 1/6th of 800 (ie 133) and encode each as usual. Encode to MPG file, dont make an Image. Then in VCDEasy, just drag all 6 mpg's in, set chapters and burn. The 80min CD will then be absolutely full and SVCD at max bitrate.

Hope that helps."

and:

" also should have added. you need to rip each 10min movie off the DVD's and to a separate folder. Get DVD2SVCD going in batch mode and you should be able to rip the lot in one go."

:D :D :D

tons of wise people( DVD2SVCD, CM, Mark, Labersack, and gosh knows who all else!)teaching! thanks!!!
