PrimoDVD doesnt see my DVR-105

PrimoDVD doesnt see my DVR-105, can anyone help me trouble shoot this?

WinXP Pro
DVR-105 as slave on secondary IDE
500mhz Celeron
512mb ram
Nero 5.5.9.9 is also installed

let me know if there is anything else you need to know to help me trouble shoot.

Have you installed the latest pxengine update?

Thanks, I tried that. It now sees the drive and I thought all was well. However, when I try to burn a DVD I get an error. Very non-specific "Burn Process Failed to to error" or something along those lines.

Any ideas?

Same problem with RecordNow Max 4.5 (which is basically Primo)

Try moving your dvd writer to the secondary master ide channel.

Is it that picky? Wow, Ill give it a try in a day or so, but I dont know why it should matter.
