what do I need to use tvchannel switch in vdVCR?

Hi,
I want to capture different movies from different channels with VdubVCR using the capture timer. I want to make Vdub switch the channels automatically. But there seems to be a problem because the button "TV Channel" in capture>capture timer is greyed out so that I can't use this funcion.
What's wrong here, can anybody tell?

Hardware is: WinTV Theater(chipset BT878/848), VFW drivers, OS is Win2k

Okay this is what the readme tells me about the tuner support with bt8x8 chipsets:
"Now works properly also with all Hauppauge BT8x8 models with VfW driver.
Simply set your country with the REG-Key's in Country folder."
>>But what does the last sentence mean exactly?!? What shall I set where?!
Can anybody explain this to me, please?
