Hello everybody and all XviD users/developers ;),

Well, as a fallen serial tester ;), I am sorry I haven't been posting a lot lately (due to many reasons actually)! Still, when I look around, I see a lot of new faces in the community, which makes me really really happy! :D

I hope the new year brings all the best to all of you mates!

I wish a happy, peaceful New Year to everybody! :)

First of all, Merry Christmas all. I hope everyone has enjoyable holidays. I always like to make some predictions, some may be obvious, but it is just for fun so here goes...

Sometime during 2003: Koepi will begin selling diamonds, Iago will have his own tester's fan club, Nic will release an avisynth plugin that will allow you effortlessly open streams directly from a DVD, AviSynth will have a professional GUI, XviD will be Doom9's codec comparison pick, ChristianHJW will promote matroska, Tobias will release OggDS sources, DSPGuru will buy an nForce, uManiac will compile XviD, -h will amaze you, someone will fix the ffdshow thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23101) subject, Vorbis will find it's way into mainstream hardware, realvideo won't be so annoying, .NET programs will run on *nix, DVD burners will be affordable and the Auburn Tigers will win the Capitol One bowl on Jan 1st.
