Taking just the VOB Files to recreate DVD ?

Is it possible to take just the VOB files [8-9 of them] from the DVD created and then recreate the New DVD ? Can I add New VOBs in this way ? and use IFOEdit to create the IFO ?

using vobedit, see ifoedit website for guide, rename the files, and use vobedit to join clips and ifoedit to create new ifo files and get vts sectors before creating an image to burn, this creates a dvd set with chapters and proper layout
