I have lots of OGM files that I would like to convert to mpg's. OGM's don't play so well in my family's DVD player. I can demux the file easily enough, but it comes out as an OGG audio. TMPGenc doesn't seem to recognize that as a legitimate audio source.
Hopefully someone has a tool to backwards engineer OGG to something that TMPGenc does recognize. If not that is there a plugin for TMPGenc?
Thanks

If TMPGENC handles any avi that windows media player does, why doesn't it seem to like XVID?
It will process, but comes out all black and useless. Therefore, either a plug-in is missing or no one told the makers of TMPGENC about XVID.
Help is appreciated.
(BTW - figured out winamp, but thank you for suggestion)

Ok, you have tried to feed the .avi trought avisynth
just put in the .avs the line AVISOURCE("my_avi.avi")?
