this is an excerpt of a vcd2toolkit tutorial:
(Video CD Toolkit: The Short Story)
it says it is possible to make a sequence that contains two events, an audio and a stillpicture.

"The last sequence to make contains two events; a still picture and an audio clip.

Make Sequence ID; Welcome, “Play time per event”; 9 seconds, and “Pause after each event”; 0 seconds.
From the Events window, drag-n-drop welcome.tga, then tourfs.mmd into the Event List.
Click “Create”."

so now I've tried and failed.
the error message was following:
[error 1] in file "....msc" at line 21, near [1_dunno_type]
syntax error
[warning]
no match for play item reference "..._aif"

does anybody know what went wrong, or has tried and won?

kind regards
holly g.

which program do you use(which producer)?
It seems to use the Mac file mormats.
There is a "Philips VCD Toolkit" for Winsows 3.1(16bit), but seems not the same with your one.
