Hi all,
Here is an update to an earlier post that I couldn't resolve. Here is a link to it:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=40138
Basically, I can't back up an eight-minute extra from The Grinch cartoon DVD. The problem seems to be the audio. I have ripped the single PGC and tried converting that, I have ripped the entire DVD to my hard drive and then tried to convert the extra again in DVD2SVCD, still no good. Tried internal routines and Vstrip. One thing that was almost successful and weird was this: I ripped the audio using Vstrip and created an audio VOB file. Then in Tmpeg, I tried to convert the d2v file along with the audio vob file. It got to about 98 percent or so, then I got an error message. Hey, no problem, I thought. I don't need the credits. So I tried to burn it using VCDEasy (I have the old Mintek-1600 standalone so I must do the "header" trick in Tmpeg) and it appeared to burn successfully. Long story short, however, it plays in WinDvd but not on the standalone and I have had no problems with anything else on the standalone. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Chris
P.S. You guys rock!
