ok i had to start a new topic since my last one got closed down,o well.anywayz i think i figured out how to make it where i can fit two eps on one disc.what i did was on the bitrate calc i changed the cd size to 399.should i set it to 399mb or 349mb?the reason i ask this is because i know you can fit 800mb on a 80min cd but im not sure if it works that way when you have two seprate files.anywayz the reason i made another topic for this was when i went to rip the dvd to my hd(doin just a rip only)it just ripped the first vob file.is there a reason for it to only rip one vob file?
EDIT:i think i figured out anwsers to both of my questions.i done quite a bit of searching but im still a little confused as to if im doin it right.
1.im pretty sure i could just set it so it will make the files 399mb and i could be able to fit both movie files on one cd without any overburn(798mb on a 80cd)
2.also i think im gonna have to rip each episode by themselves.
please correct me if im wrong.

Hi
1. Make each mpg 400Mb and put both files in your burnsoftware as a SVCDformat than it fits
2.When you have one vob file you can extract each episode when using internal routines and go to the length tab and just select the episode you need
When you can find on the dvd structure for each episode an ifo than just rip each episode on his own in a different folder
good luck

It got closed becuase you are being lazy. The answer is in the Q+A. You can rip each seperately and then do them as one encode.

If you had simply said I did read the Q+A and I still have problems it all would have ended and help would have been given, but you never even acknowleged my post until it was too late and acted like I never said a thing.
I will see if I can't clear up some stuff.
There seems to be an issue with the bitrate calc if you drop the cd size below 700mb's. If you want to do each individually it's best to manually force the Max AVG bitrate to force the size you want.
Basically set the exact number of minutes the video is and change the cd size to what you want. On the right use the largest bitrate setting and put that number in Max AVG. This will force DVD2SVCD to not use any bitrate higher then that and thus force the size you want. After you found out the bitrate it's best to return the cd size to the normal as this will no longer affect the cd size.
If you wish to do them all as one encode then as the Q+A says rip each episode to a different directory and then sequentially number them higher all the way through the episodes. At that point copy them all over to the directory where the first Vob's are and then just make them as a single encode.
