how do i rip a dvd with episodes?

ok i basically know how to rip a dvd with diffrent episodes but what im not sure how to do is make it so i can get two episodes to fit on one cd.each episode is about 26 mins long.so how can i make sure that the files end up no bigger than 399mb each?i could use any help i can get.
