Creating VOBs from MPG dvd Compliant rename ?

Files are already DVD Compliant from Betacam SP done a couple months ago... but no menus are needed but they are MPG Files.. How then can I create VOBs from the MPEG2 files.. just rename them ? Thanks

IfoEdit might be a very good choise in this case.
