View Full Version : Maestro Multiple disabled audio/subtitle tracks

Hello!
This may have been covered in the past, but I can't find any threads to it.
Basically, a simple compilation projects, 1 video stream, 1 audio, and 1 subtitle.
Everything works as should, how ever, when i go to test the compiled project in windvd or pdvd, under audio tracks, I see the active track, then 6 others that (that have no audio attached to them).
Similarly with the subtitles, there is the 1 on available track, and 31 dimmed out.
For the life of me, I can't find the setting in maestro to disable this behavior.
Please advise.
Note, the pic is from powerdvd 4.0

you can manually disable them by right clicking on the movie in the tree and selecting properties

By right clicking on the movie in the tree I get the option to disable the following items.
I don't see the option to disable these various streams though.
(Unless I'm over looking something)
EDIT:
Hmm the attachment didn't attach, but anyways, the options available include those for playback control, stream select, menu call, disable chapter skip, line 21, and display condition.
No toggle boxes available to disable the subtitle/language streams.

if the check boxes are disabled, then that stream *shouldnt* get compiled.
btw, attachments need to be validated by a moderator before they are visible.

Get the same problem, almost every time.
In fact I jest use Ifoedit after and modify number of audio stream from 8 to 1 (or 2 or whatever real streams you have) and sub streams from 32 to 1,2 or... whatever you really have.
It's in VTS_PGCITI then VTS_PGC_1 I think (@work right now)

Klona, agreed, that is a suitable work around, but I'd like to still explore AUENF's suggestions.
However, I do not see the screens he's referring to.
Hey AUENF, since you're a mod, can you post a jpg of the screen in question, and detailed info how to get to it please?
danke

hi,
thanks for the screenshot auenf
in one post Gpz1100 is talking about
disable chapter skip, line 21
you don't have these settings in the screenshot, but i have
as you understood you have these disabled subtitle tracks checkboxes, i don't...
this problem is surely coming from a maestro build, mine is 2.9 build 2915a, please tell which you're using :)
klona talked about a solution with ifoedit, is someone could write a tiny guide ?
thx

iirc, the properties for the playist (link in my other thread) is slightly different to movie properties, http://www9.brinkster.com/sportschook/?mcompat.jpg, which has your disable last chapter thing, which i *think* applies to all the playists off that movie, but dont quote me on that.
btw, isnt this a rather old thread?
