2X Ritek on Pioneer A04 100% good

I have a Pioneer A04 firmware 1.31. I bought a 100 pack of Ritek G03's from I forget who (Shop4Tech?). 1 out of 8 would fail at 2X speed. I bought another 100 pack from Supermedia store. I've used about 90 so far and all have worked at 2X speed!!!! Just ordered another 100 pack from Supermedia store, $0.83/disc USD free shipping.

Did you run ADVDINFO on you shop4tech riteks to ensure they are actually ritek discs?

The discs complete burning at 2x doesn't mean that they will work properly. In my (admittedly limited experience: 10 discs) the Riteks would burn successfully at 2x but most would have reading problems at the end of the disc, past the 4.00 GB mark. All were readable, but it would take 10 minutes or so to finish copying the last 400 mb of the disc.

@Jankster, I'd also be interested to know the ADVDInfo, I'm thinking of getting those DVD-Rs from Supermedia. If possible could you run ADVDInfo on one of the current spindle and one from the last spindle (that had the 1 in 8 failure rate).
