Maybe DOOM9 would update his IfoEdit Guide with this feature for all the people... (If it works, of course...):D :D :D :D :D

Ok, read the solution and now I translate here for you. Someone here gave a similar answer but didn't post the correct place where to modify.
Localize the VTS_XX titleset of tha main movie, open the Ifofile of this titleset in Ifoedit, select VTS_PGCITI -> VTS_PGC_X (chain of the main movie), Add a pre-command just before of the first Post command and edit it with '(SetSTN) Set audio stream ' with your audio stream.

Following this thread, I have another question...
Can I follow the same procedure to define a default subpicture stream?

Yes. In this case the command is "(SetSTN) Set Subpicture Stream Nr".

Hi all,
I tryed the procedure several times but it doesn't work properly always. Some time works some other not, I'm not be able to understand way. Probably it depends in which way the moves is done.
Maybe someone more expert than me could say way and discover a more sure procedure.
Also another question, if in the .ifo file is not present the pre-command istruction in which way and were I can add myself (normally this happen if before to insert the pre-command I remux the moves with ifoedit to left only the main move).
best regards

A standard procedure, unfortunately, does not exist.
It depends, as I wrote on italian forum, from the way the movie has been authored.
However there are some things to keep in mind: most part of movies try to autodetect the default language reading the related SPreg from the player. If the autodetection fails or you are unable to change the default audio language in the player's settings you can force a specific audio track with command (SetSTN)Set Audio Stream Number: X (where X is the desired value).
Sometimes this command can be inserted in the VIDEO_TS.IFO but often the autodetection is in the movie's titleset, so you have to insert it just after it.
If you are not interested in changing audio track by the appropriate menu, you can insert the command as the last Pre-command in the group of cells that contain the movie (normally in the PGC_1).
In this way, however, if you select another audio track from the audio menu, the movie will always start with the language you previously set. The only way to change audio will be with the remote control, once the movie is started.
Bye.
