First, pardon my English, I'm Asian, and I always skip english lesson in old school.

I use Vobedit to demux m2v, ac3 and dts. The ripped main video files were more than one files.

I rip subtitles using Subrip, save it as SSA convert it to SON using MaestroSBT.

I am reauthoring with Maestro.
Because i want to add subtitle, and I have multiple video streams, at main movie, I use bitmap file first and stretch it as long as the main M2V, import subtitles, delete the bitmap, import the multiple video asset as main movie.
Well everything looks ok.
I make my own menu, which is fun.

Finally, compile the DVD...
I Split the DVD (which still in DVD9 size) into 2 DVD5 using Ifoedit, with no problem.

Burn'em with Nero, which i was very familiar in using.

Watch it on home DVD player.
It's not as SMOOTH as the FU**ING original!!!

What's the problem?
Is there any quality control in Maestro?
Did I miss any setting of bitrate in any softwares that i used?
Can hardware specification be the problem?
Do i have to installed some codecs?

Thanks, peace.

Yes, it works just fine. That is unless you have a crappy "cracked" version. Also, the way you are trying to go about things is highly susceptible to inconsistent results. I suggest following one of the guides.

No. More than likely, your problem is introduced when you start chopping things up with IFOedit. Aside from the problem I already mentioned.

What do you mean with "crappy" cracked version?

Meaning A) You shouldn't run cracked software in the first place. and B) I've seen many reports of Maestro "strangeness" and every one of them was due to a sub-par crack.

HI
at the price of some software, i must disagree with your opinion of cracks, cracks allow the full use of different software over a period of time to enable us to make proper and experience related decision as to what software to buy, and i must say it seems to be getting very trendy to Diss the use of cracks and the like, I being like so many others find the deeper we get into different computer fields, DVD processing etc that our needs change as our understanding increases, so spending ? $ and then a month down the line on somthing else is no good,

Your "opinion" is completely illegal and goes against the rules of the forum, dss261263. sky_dave is trying to get an answer to his problem so the thread will stay. However, I will not let this turn into a whiner's page about how they love and want cracks.
