I am trying to join the movie .mpv and the credits .mpv generated from dvd2avi's process. One fast and secure way to do it??
I have tried campeg-join and ordix-mpack and nothing good came out.
I need to encode credits at a low bitrate but cant waste my
time lowering bitrate in advanced cinemacraft settings.

@auenf I agree with you, but not completely. I had the same need as DVD_GR ,and came to use TmpegEnc to do the job. The resulting file, though a fully compliant mpeg m2v, was not a video stream but a system stream with a zero size audio stream. Result: I couldnīt import the joined m2v file into any DVD Mastering program because it wasnīt a video stream. Solution: VobTools. This tools extracts whatever stream you want from a mpg source, so I just fired the m2v into it, selected the video stream to extract and job done. Up to now I have been unable to find another way to join/split m2v files and get working files.

At this moment I know just one 100% working program called EZ Joiner from BoilSoft. It's bloody fast and it makes working streams in a couple of minutes. Demo is fully functioning for 10 days.

I just couldn't resist to ask my Greek friend :

Why don't you just add end credits as the last vob and run the IfoEdit and correct everything. GetVTS at the end and watch the final movie :D

Thanks alot guys.I will test tmpeg+vobtools and if something bad happens i will post it.Sometimes some programs just merge the data not bothering keeping mpeg rules ok.
To 011:I dont believe this is possible and working because ifoedit
works as a whole with the movie, you cant just add a vob and by correcting the vts to get it work.
U should change all navigation packs and original ifo structure or else you will surely lose chapters really position.if you have tried it post the exact process to test it.If else i need something sure.

M2-edit seems to work well for this task, too.

WELL GYUS i got it working just with tmpeg..
I will tell detailed the process (maybe you all know but i want to be sure that even the dumbest will get it)

Open Tmpeg->file->mpegtools->merge&cut
Then join the two video streams by first renaming to .mpg (set svcd vbr)
This takes some time.
U get a file at the end..the audio isnt present but the prog set a 0byte which is malformed so
go to file->mpegtools->simple demultiplex->select the file
and SET NO AUDIO File..
THEN IT WORKED!!
I authored in spruce up and evrything is ok.
THANKS ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR HELP..
finally i underestimated tmpeg's work.

Of course it is possible. I've did it so many times. You can add whatever you like if you correct navigation and correct VTS. It's simple and fun. You need no instructions : you've alredy answered your own question, so what the hack - try it and see what's happening. As for the TMpeg - it's damn slow and you need TWO operations for a very simple thing. Doesn't make any sence to me.
