Attack of the Clones will not be had....

I've tried DVD split and DVDXCopy and neither seems to like Attack of the clones... I've also tried encoding a single total .vob with rempeg which did not work and Finlay DVD2AVI project file rip with TMPG which did not like the project file.. Does anybody have a successful method they used to share?

Had good success in backing up the movie only onto a single DVD-5 w/SmartRipper - DVD2AVI - VFAPI - CCE - DVDMaestro - Prassi

I've just done this film. Basically, you have 2 choices.

Using the guides you can backup to a DVD-5, however I've noticed that rempeg sometimes produces blockiness in places if the bitrate falls bellow about 300000-350000, but it is still acceptable and it is the easier of the 2 methods.

1 thing I must mention though about both StarWars I and II. When you strip in ifoedit, keep all the vob ID's except 3 & 4 otherwise the opening "A long time ago, in a galaxy..." will repeat it Spanish & French.

The 2nd method is to create a DVD2AVI project separating the audio as well and re-encoding with tmpg, then re-authoring. Near perfect quality compared to the original, but much harder and time consuming.
