Xvid sound problem

When i play a xvid video he doesn't find the codec. And that is stang because i installed the XviD.Alpha.12.08.2002.1000 and ffdshow-20020617. When i start a movie he's looking for the codec at microsoft and then says that het cant find the ride whan (Fout=80040200):confused:

When i click close the error message i see the movie but have no sound.

i'm jusing windows ME

Please help me.:D

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
XviD codec is just a video codec, NOT a sound codec.
download Gspot (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Editing/gspot20.zip) which will tell you the codecs u need for both video and sound.
