Codec for CCE

When i try to run CCE it cannot find the codec for VFAPI can any body help
Where do i find it

If you look in the archive which VFAPI came in, you will see that there is an installable codec there, in addition to the VFAPI executable.

I have tried by double clicking on the VFAPset but it doesnt do anything, I still have the same problem when i try to encode

Please tell me your precise procedure going from after you've ripped the VOBs using SmartRipper or DVDdecrypter.

OK here we go
Tried to use VOB to Mpeg but the movie is still 5 GIG so i cant burn it to one DVD
so the next thing was to try DVD9 to DVD5 and of we go
I create a DVD2AVI and then Using the VFAPI Converter transformed the DVD2AVI project into something CCE can open.
then used charter extractor and added the files the guide said to and then tried to encode.
well the rest is history it didnt work.
Cant find VFAP codec
any ideas on how the best way to backup a DVD that is bigger than 4.7gig
