I am attempting to back-up a dvd for the first time. I am using dvd decrypter which is simple but the audio is out of sync with the video. First I use dvd decrypter and then I use NEO to burn my DVD from the hard drive of my computer. On two separate occasions (Spirit and Powerpuff Movie) my audio is off. Is there a way to fix this?

I found a good beginners site but I am stuck at the dvdmae... problem. I've been all over and can't find a replacement. Please give a newbie a foot up.

I don't burn DVDs, and can't help you directly.

But, regardless of the type of encoding / transcoding / reformatting a new person does, I always recommend starting with a "standard" methodology. That way, when you run into problems -- and you will -- others will understand the process and be able to lend assistance.

You may want to try one or more of Doom9's guides, if you haven't already. Click on DVD and MiniDVD Guides (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdr-guides.htm). Within that page there are links to more than 20 guides for those who burn DVDs. There are a few guides that might help, such as "Copying a DVD-9 to 2 DVD-Rs," "Creating a DVD that contains just the main movie," and "DVD-9 to DVD-5 'Full Copy' instructions."

I've spent today going over the guides that you directed me to (thank you for that! just to let you know I did read them before posting but this is alot of info to suck up) but unfortunately I am still having the same problem. 1) rip with DVD Decrypter 2) IfoEdit 3) ImgTools (not sure if this step is working right) 4) Burn (using Neo)

What software specifically deals with this audio/video syncing? If it is the ImgTools, which I don't think it is, then this could be the problem the instructions are a little confusing although it seems it would be simple. (see step 4 in http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvdr-guides.htm )
I am getting an error that it can't find the video_ts file or the ifo file. I tried various ways with no luck.

Mabey it's my Neo but I don't get how to burn with DVD Decrypter as it says in the guide "Once the image has been created all that remains to be done is burn the image. As stated before there are many options but I suggest one that I'm sure you will all like as you already have the program installed: DVD Decrypter."

Thanks for any help.
