Working on stand alone DVD player?

I was wondering I know u can play vcds on any stand alone dvd player that are also vcd players but what about any other dvd player can it work on those because I heard where somewhere u can?:confused:

That depends if you're talking about stand alone dvd players or the other stand alone dvd players that play vcds. :D
